Written from the author’s formative years onwards to his early twenties these poems are the record of a youth experiencing "alternately with joy and unease the world around him". Exploring themes of spiritual loss and rejuvenation, Jani lays bare the pieces of his inner-mythology and tries to construct from the ruins a meaningful architecture.

 The debut work from SCP's editor-in-chief Seth Jani is a record of one youth's internal landscape as he passes through the tribulations and initiations of childhood on his way to maturity.

 Rootless And Other Poems: A collection of 21 poems written between the ages of 17-19, it is the work that friend and fellow poet N. Sola described as " the striving of a writer of the night to become a writer of the day". Includes Jani's favorite performance piece          " Empty Room".  Mythos And Other Poems:  Written when the author was on a cross-country volunteer stint with the Americorps NCCC, includes poems written in and about Northern California, Oregon, Mississippi and New Orleans, as well as poems influenced by his study of Oriental religion and world mythology. ( Previously published as a limited-edition chapbook)

 A Dreamer's Masquerade & Poem Mystica: The first a series of five prose- poems which serve as a visionary albeit nihilistic  account of drug-abuse, the latter a four-part poem exploring themes of mystical insight and rebirth. ( Previously published as a limited-edition chapbook)

 Old Prophet And Other Poems: A collection of subject-based poems dealing with themes ranging from a students death to a blinded ascetic.
