SCP: A 12 Month Forecast

Don't Forget SCP Is Taking A Summer Break

03/11/09: SCP is pleased to announce that the debut issue of CircleShow (issn pending) is now available as well as two subscription options, details of which can be found by visiting our site store.

Along with this we are happy to introduce our SpotLights project and encourage all to become a vendor as well as sign-up for our Raffle.

Please note that SCP will be closed to normal submissions from June 16th to October 1st during which time the merchandise/spotlight store will also be closed.

Books/CircleShow will still be available through SCP Books via. Lulu duringthis time.

We are also proud to announce that SCP will be hosting its first chapbook contest later this year. Submissions will open on September 1st, check back in the near future for more details.

SCP will anounce Pushcart nominations in September.

12/24/08: After eight months and hundreds of submissions, SCP is finally starting to actually look like something more then the disgruntled vision of a broke poet in his early twenties. With the first perfect-bound issue of CircleShow on its way, the founder's own book in print, the creation of the SpotLights and ABChapbook Projects, and a consistent number of daily hits to the site, it finally feels more then futile to add a paragraph to this page.

With that said the new year will be one of plenty, it will include more issues of CircleShow, our first chapbook contest (contingent on funding), a video performance page that will be open only to our " Poets" page alumn, many new voices, new merchandise and certainly many other exciting additions that have yet to show their shape.

The SCP Staff thanks everyone who has taken their time to submit their work over the last eight months and wishes happy holidays to all.

10/08/08: Within the last few months a great many things have occured. For starters we are happy to introduce a handful of new voices, whose work is available in the poets section ( Taylor Graham, Dan Provost and more). Scp has also just released its second exclusive chapbook publication Mythos And Other Poems By Seth Jani samples of which are now online. We have recently added a links page which connects our blossoming literary community to many other independent presses and fantastic resources. We are also preparing to launch both our ABChapbook project and getting material ready for our end of the year collective. All work accepted up to Dec. 20 will be given space in the anthology after that you will have to wait till 2009, so keep up the submissions. We still plan on a future section devoted to Reviews, will be putting up a video performance page and are preparing to publish new work by Nicholas Sola and a few other Scp originals. Keep clickin and enjoy.

8/28/08:Editor-In-Chief Seth Jani is proud to introduce the site of the newly founded Literary venue Seven CirclePress (SCP). Here you will find a selection of works from a variety of young poets as well as information regarding the publication of your own. As this site is new there is still a lot pending, but be sure to visit often and check the News/Update page for any additions.

At the moment we have planned both an array of new poets soon to be published, as well as forthcoming author bios, a book review section and a site store.

Currently Scp has one chapbook in circulation with a sequel in the making, we will also be publishing an annual anthology of our years online publications come Dec/Jan. We are still currently accepting submissions so if you would like to be published online and in our anthology please visit the submissions page for guidelines.

With that said all of us here at the editorial board wish you happy reading and encourage you to send your work.

Please stay in touch and of course...Enjoy.
