The Post-Modern Poet is an online journal that seeks to gather a handful of critical visions concerning the place of the poet (as seer, as madman, as neglected genius, as rambling-drunk etc.) in contemporary society.
The Post-Modern Poet prints essays that exhibit an eloquent use of language and that show an exceptional degree of thought and intellectual dignity concerning the role of the poet in a largely unpoetic present.
The Post-Modern Poet currently only considers work from authors previously published by SCP, either online or in print.
The journal is free for all to read.
